Sometimes Time

Sunburnt hood up in the rain
Flat tire, wired eyes for the brain
Sometimes time doesn’t explain

Sequined smile beneath the clouds
Soaking wet and standing proud
Sometimes time just gets too loud

Clocks stall and fall off walls
Before the power goes out
Seconds beckon, reckoning the wind’s known
Minutes dilute minute uncertainty
Leaking laughs once thought of

Flat file hat on soft lit strands
Throwing air and catching land
Sometimes time just augments plans

Fallen angel ran away
Climbing rock like carving clay
Sometimes time will save the day
