I had a morning, so I had a day
Nothing I did went close to my way
Up with the sun with no coffee for my pot
Go to the store to see what they’ve got
Walked through the clouds and the door to my car

I turn the key and click, click, dead
Old battery. New battery. Fixed the shit.
Wham kept bam kept getting hit
Then the music died and I listened and I cried
Head for bed with a million songs in my head
Stubbed my toe and slipped on socks
I get shaken and I get rocked
