Ha.Hey (an i)

Wreck a tape deck, smash feet, cross a line
She twists and turns, a crack of spine
Spikes down her back like a porcupine
She sits, and says, “Ha. Hey, that’s life.
Ha. Hey, that’s just fine.”

Flip a new kid, kick feet, run a field
She spins and goes, she stops to feel
Drips down her back, a drop from the wheel
She sifts, and says “Ha. Hey, what’s real?
Ha. Hey, what a steal.”

Love passed down in a jungle
Love passed down from a vine
Love when everything gets tangled
Love when everything unwinds
Lovin’ love

Love tied up near a jungle
Love let down near a spring
Love when everyone gets different
Love when everyone’s change sings
Love and change

Leave a fresh mark, four feet, dot an i
She stays like leaves, recycling goodbyes
Slides down her back, a drip of the night
She slips and says, “Ha. Hey, that’s right.
Ha. Hey, out of sight.”

Find an old school, three years, have a wave
She twirls like wax, smiles and misbehaves
Trace down her back like an ancient cave
She sleeps and says, “Ha. Hey, a grave.
Ha. Hey, that was brave.”

I wonder where she is these days.
