She looked to the moon
The sun came up so soon
It’s lightness leaked, began to speak

He looked to the leaves
He thought, “stay with me”
Their colors spilled, they grew too fast
They dropped so suddenly

She makes up her own words, it’s absurd
A little off key, the way she sings
He falls, every line – it’s amazing
Insanity. It’s crazy, he thinks she’s amazing

Can’t help it, and she leaves
