Undress The Moon

Take off your day, undress the moon
Breathe for a while,
releasing you

Run some experiments, under the moon
Escaped from the cage
Scratching, wax, soon

Pillows and sheets and a carousel
Waning meets fingertip warmth
After swirling and tracing, a mind is erased
Left with dripping wet breath meets white noise
Shaking like forgotten toys

Looking up at photos of you looking back at you
In a dimly pulsing room

Greet shadows’ light, undo the moon
Rolling back eyes
Inside of you

Give in to dark, untie the moon
So softly lit
A warm green hue

Swing swaying
Looking up at photos of you looking back at you
In a dimly pulsing room
