Absence of Nothing (10/2017)

In the absence of nothing.
With the exception of everything.
We will all find that our memories mean anything.
What does this mean to you?

Over driven and going nowhere.
Knowing where I’ve been.
Is it harder to change or stay the same?

Push me past forty.
I’m already over the hill.

My favorite piece of earth has grown.
The only peace of mind I’ve known.
Broken brick, window to my back.
The sky, blue, chimes for my eyes.
I could hear it.

It means exactly nothing,
You say that you’ve got everything.
Soon you will find that gold can be anything.
What does this mean for you?

You’re driving over nowhere.
This place has spring in winter.
What did that mean to you?
