Unlearning

Why’d I
do that?
Now it’s
everywhere.

Wide eyed,
saw that.
What if
they don’t care?

I could do this forever.
I do believe I was right.
At times at least.
At least we’re all still standing most of the time.
I do believe we’re alright,
What a wild couple years,
didn’t know we had the might.
I guess maybe I did.

So I
wrote this.
Hoping
it gets lost.

Stupid
brain heart.
Is it
worth the cost?

I could do this forever.
I do believe I was wrong.
For years at least.
At least we’re all unlearning with passing years.
I do believe there are songs
for the feelings we can’t explain,
and I don’t believe many things.
