Glimpse

Figured out our minds.
How these old things work inside.
Implore them, they’ll tell you we’re crazy.
We’ll say they’ve never lied.
Not that we’ve ever known of.

Walked out of our minds.
Left those old things way behind.
Explored them, they made us go crazy.
We built us together.
Not that we’ve never known it.

She is beauty wrapped in brilliant confusion.
Distance walking in the door.
She’s scaled up a pillar,
above stars dancing on the floor.

And I am filled from even the smallest glimpse.

She flies, leaving it all behind.
Making her own way.
She sighs at the seat to her right.
Shaking things her own way.
She’s fine as she takes hold of life,
slowly cycles into the parade.
