I’ll never write a catchy song
I sit down and it’s all gone
Feel in my limbs lives something wrong
If it’s drifting
Lift me, my soul
I’ll shine in anonymity
We went ways
to look at what we’re made of
and what we really need.
I’ll never pen a decent poem
I’ve watered words but they’re not growing
These hearts won’t see what I can’t show them
When it’s someday
Runway, we’ll fly
We’ll bask in the calm of everything
Why do I say that I don’t know why
when I say it every night to the sky?
Watching you leave makes me wish you would stay.
Watching you breathe, simply, takes my breath away.
By my side sings and I know why
we went ways.
