Toes dig into dirt as the storm is heard
Drops of dripping dew
I see it when I hear it and it all moves to you
Roots sunbathe with soil, some rest before a rise
Seeds bring soothing shine
In my ears
a memory of joyous sparkling wine
Happy wanderer scaling up the backyard
Just past a palms reach
Different from the other ones
Different, purple climbing
To see another side
Hands take in the hours ‘til the bloom begins
Roads and reasons rhyme
On my mind
a clock swirls a long day’s dose of wine
Stars discern the earth as two clouds rehearse
Dripping drops of dew
We feel it when we need it, it makes us think of you
To see another side.
Dripping droplets do make us think of you.
