Easy on a Rainbow

Grounding me and potting these.
Scents, they swirl so suddenly.
Petals stretch and bend my way.
Oh my, what a sunny day.

Mixing hands and favorite tunes,
this one sings my thoughts on you.
Rooted now with years to grow.
Coffee, time, and that old glow.

Sitting easy on a rainbow.
Scraping left out honey from my smile.
Tonight I’ll dream I’m dreaming in a storm,
waking with the sunrise. I won’t want to wake up.

It opened these blinds for the first time.
Thought I heard sunlight tapping on my window.

Calming mind and morning shine.
Through gold leaves, this dappled line.
Clouds, they smile and shed bright tears,
rinse the past and flood out fears.

Digging dirt for light to bloom.
Purple, gold, and no more gloom.
Petals stretch and bend my way.
Oh my, what a sunny day.
